Conversation with my husband via text messaging after he has been at the dentist for a dental cleaning and hasn't returned for more than an hour & a half.
Me: Are your teeth exceptionally dirty?
B: No... I have issues
Me: I know that. Particular to your teeth this time?
B: Glad to know my pain amuses you.
Me: I always feel its best to laugh at the pain of others since it's so difficult to do at one's own.
B: Bully for you. I meant you are a bully.
Me: I know. It's ok though. I've been through sensitivity training. Got a D-. That's passing.
